Mark with AI

Get strict, exam-style feedback from Copilot on your 4, 6, 9 and 12-mark answers — using the same PEEL, chains and AJIM rules we use in class.

How to do it

  1. Open a past paper walkthrough from Practise. Find a 4, 6, 9 or 12-mark question and tap Mark my answer with AI. Don't open the model answer yet.
  2. Write your answer. Do it in your book first if you like, then type it into the box — or type straight into the box. It saves on your device as you go.
  3. Tap Copy prompt for Copilot. This copies one long message with the question, the case study, the mark scheme, our rules and your answer.
  4. Tap Open Copilot, sign in with your school account and start a new chat — use a fresh chat for every question, or it may mix them up. Paste the message in (Ctrl+V, or press and hold on a phone) and send it.
  5. Read the feedback: your mark, what earned it, a checklist and two targets. Improve your answer in the box to hit those targets.
  6. Tap Copy redraft and paste it into the same Copilot chat. It re-marks and tells you whether you hit your targets.
  7. Now open the model answer in the walkthrough and compare. Write your best version in your book.

What the AI checks you against

4 marks — Explain ONE: Point, Evidence from the case, Explain with a "which means…" chain. For "identify and explain TWO": two points, each explained.
6 marks — Analyse: one PEEL paragraph. One point, taken deep: at least three "which means" links, ending on sales, costs or profit.
9 marks — Recommend / Justify: PEEL · PEEL · C. Both sides, both using the case, then an AJIM conclusion.
12 marks — Evaluate: PEEL · PEEL · C, with the options weighed against each other and an AJIM conclusion that uses case data.

AJIM = Answer · Justify · It depends · Most important.

Using it well

Copilot won't open or won't let you sign in? Tell your teacher. ChatGPT works with exactly the same prompt, but if you're under 18 you need a parent or carer's permission to use it.
